For some any day or every day could be Rum Day but the powers that be(?) have designated August 16th officially that day! Well to celebrate Rum - any day you want, there is a great Rum Distillery right in the heart of New Orleans. Old New Orleans Rum has a very informative tour, followed by a tasting of each of their rums. They'll even pick you up in the Quarter.
